MrG: Summer projects! Yaaaaaah!

OK folks-the county mandates (not me) that you have to select 4 projects/topics from the list to complete during summer recess. ( I wanted many more). These are to prepare you for the AP courses you are embarking upon. The majority of these topics seems to be for 2D or Drawing but I can see where 3D students could use many of the same ones. The list is at the bottom of the post.

For students not able to attend all of the sessions, please pick 4 topics and I guess I'll see you when I see you. The work needs to be done with your best, not your so-so. Quality is the result of disciplined and directed practice. Discipline, self discipline, is one friend you need to make for life.

For students attending one or more workshops, please select two topics prior to our first meeting on the 28th of June in the art room at Ridge. Please be there promptly at 9:00. In addition, please bring in The following:

Cut small pictures from catalogs (small appliances, cameras, shoes, toys, etc) and staple/glue each picture (at least 20) on an standard sized piece of paper. (8.5 x 11). 1 of 3
A road map. Preferably a free one and especially one that won't mind not being used functionally anymore. 2 of 3
Sense of humor, patience, and your lucky shoes. 3 of 3
