Student worked enthusiastically, assisted with preparation and cleanup
Student made little to no effort to contribute. Needed more than one reminder to stay on task or bare minimum
Off task. Did not use time well, did not/avoided clean up, sought ways to avoid work, did not care for materials, equipment, or associates

Effort/Perseverance
Project finished on time with maximum effort. Student went well beyond requirements and limitations boldly
Project finished on time but some details lacking but showed attention to detail. Majority correct. Student experimented!
Finished on time with minimum effort. Met the minimum of criteria. Minimal effort or experimenting evident in finished work
Unfinished or late. Effort is lacking or not evident. Below standard for development due to lack of effort, not due to lack of skill.

Craftsmanship/Skill
Work is as well made as hard work and attention to detail could make it
Work finished with the majority of work completed and/or a few minor flaws or missteps
Finished, but lacking attention to detail, messy, or little attention to development
Development of skill obviously lacking. Appears to achieve the minimum or less. Subpar or thrown together

Elements & Principles
Work was planned/ executed with effective use of the Elements and Principles of Design. Composition/Form is cohesive and unified
Shows application of the Elements & Principles with a/some minor errors. Overall adhered to achieve a unified
Elements or Principles lacking. Shows some understanding of their application in making a cohesive design
Discordant use of the Elements and Principles. Little evidence of considerate application or incomplete, or not completed

Creativity & Originality
Work is unique; shows masterful use of creativity. There is no doubt the work is original.
Problem solved. Visual evidence of creative development with room for improvement. Student took risks
Finished but with trite solutions. Work is lacking in originality and/or with little development of creativity. Risk taking not evident. Unoriginal.
Incomplete/unfinished or shows the following; lack of experimentation, lack of engagement. Work unoriginal
