All AP students taking the course do not pass. Not every student will score a minimum 3 on the portfolio nor a maximum of 6. If we cannot structure the classes for success, we would like to improve the odds by initiating a minimal threshold for students within the class itself. There is no reason to pay for a test for a student who has poor odds of passing. Additionally, It is recommended that the students schedule be changed for the second semester. There is no room for a disruption in an AP class. Students not sharing the same standard have nothing to lose and disrupt/distract other students. It would also be unfair to keep a person in a class if they aren’t suited for it any longer than had already been spent. Best to utilize course time /manpower where it is effective and can earn a passing credit.
