Premise: What is a postcard? What is a remembrance? How does physical environment make a change within us and why do we think of anything but the new experience?
Student to combine color, 2D Imagery into a unique and asymmetrically balanced form. Essentially a sculptural postcard.
Structure.
Must be asymmetrical
Have an uneven number of legs and sit on either legs, planes on edge or arcs. No flatlanders here!
Foam core will be provided largely in the form of scraps to use up leftovers.
Stipulations and Parameters
There can be no more than 3 rectangles in the whole piece. ( My concern is that the shortest route will be taken and little thought put into developing a work that disrupts space).
